Azul Classics: Piano

An anthology dedicated to the piano repertoire, featuring works performed by artists from the label´s catalog.

Curated by composer and instrumentalist Corciolli, founder of the record company, the selection offers an excellent introduction to the plurality of languages, styles and approaches found across the label’s catalog. AZUL CLASSICS: PIANO is the second volume in a series of albums dedicated to an instrument or ensemble, seeking to trace a sensitive and contemporary panorama of chamber music in Brazil and the world.

Highlights include Jeux D’Eau by Maurice Ravel, performed by Clara Sverner; Eu Lírico, a crossover composition by the young Italian pianist Filippo Landi; and Notturno Napolitano by Fanny Mendelssohn, performed by Karin Fernandes.
